Role overview
We are an award-winning social media agency partnering with brands including Hartley’s Jelly & Jam, Bathroom Brands, BP, PlayOJO, AXA Investment Managers, Linda McCartney Foods, Virgin, Dow and Avanti West Coast.
We are a collaborative mix of strategists, creatives, account managers, media planners and buyers, united by a shared goal: creating work that earns people’s time and attention on social media.
This is an opportunity for a paid social professional to take on greater ownership of campaigns and client relationships. Reporting to a Paid Media Account Director, you will work across media strategy, hands-on delivery, client management and performance.
You will work closely with creative, strategy, production and account teams to ensure paid media thinking is integrated from the outset and that ideas are set up to perform effectively.
You will manage paid social activity from brief to reporting across a range of B2C and B2B clients, including multi-market campaigns. You will translate platform data into clear recommendations, build trusted client relationships and contribute to strengthening the paid media offering.
This is a hybrid role, with around two days per week in our London office and flexibility to work remotely on other days.
As a Paid Media Account Manager at Cubaka, you will:
- Plan, build, launch and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Translate client briefs into clear multi-market media plans covering audiences, budgets, campaign structure, creative requirements, testing and measurement.
- Manage budgets, pacing and forecasting accurately while maintaining high-quality campaign setup, tracking and governance.
- Act as a key day-to-day client contact, communicating plans, performance and next steps clearly and confidently.
- Define project scopes aligned to resources, set expectations and support successful and commercially effective delivery.
- Deliver reporting that explains performance outcomes, provides insight and recommends clear next steps.
- Work with creative and strategy teams to shape formats, messaging, asset variations and test-and-learn plans for paid social.
- Identify trends, challenge assumptions and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Spot opportunities to improve results, test new approaches and support account growth.
- Contribute to improving processes, tools and ways of working, and support new business initiatives where required.
You will bring:
- Around three or more years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, ideally in an agency or client-facing environment.
- Strong experience across Meta and Google, with working knowledge of TikTok and/or LinkedIn (B2C and/or B2B experience is beneficial but not essential).
- Experience independently managing campaigns, budgets, reporting and client communication from brief through to delivery.
- Confidence interpreting performance data, communicating insights clearly and demonstrating impact through recommendations.
- Understanding of how paid media contributes to wider business objectives and commercial outcomes.
- Interest in creative performance, audience behaviour and continuous learning across social platforms.
- A proactive, organised approach with confidence managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail across campaign setup, budget management and reporting.
And in return, Cubaka offers:
- Unlimited holiday (paid annual leave)
- Free breakfast in the office
- Perkbox – A rewards, perks and benefits platform
- Auto-enrolment pension (retirement benefit), with up to 8% contribution
- Regular socials and team-building sessions
- Annual salary review, quarterly performance reviews
- Choice of company: Apple MacBook Pro or PC
