Part-Time Outpatient Registered Dietitian – Eating Disorders
Job Description
Navigate Nutrition is a group outpatient practice with a commitment to providing quality nutrition care and counseling through a trauma-informed lens. We work within a weight-inclusive frame work.
We are looking for applicants who are interested in growing the business together. We are more like a coop, start-up environment rather than a corporate set up. This position is ideal for someone looking to transition out of a clinical or full-time job by starting with a smaller caseload and increasing over time. Many of our clients are LGBTQIA+, have multiple behavioral health diagnoses, have experienced trauma that influences eating behaviors and sense of self.
Must be a registered dietitian with prior work experience post-internship.
Must be able to work in either the Arlington, MA or Salem, MA offices in person on occasion. Most work will be remote from home office or in company office.
Compensation is based on experience level and will increase as your case load, experience, and investment in the company increase. Hours are entirely flexible and based on your schedule. This job can be done while working in another setting.
The ideal candidate has:
-experience with nutrition counseling or motivational interviewing
-experience working with medical nutrition therapy for clients with disordered eating, gastrointestinal concerns, functional medicine, and/or diabetes
– strong clinical skills
-organizational skills
-excellent communication skills
-worked post-internship in a hospital or behavioral health higher level of care
-an interest in developing a sub-speciality
-ideas for improving nutrition care
-energy and enthusiasm for growing a business

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (all work hours are compensated, paid for patient contact at 1.5 times face-to-face time)

Medical specialties:
-Dietetics
Education: Bachelors required, must have graduated from an accredited dietetic internship
License/Certification:
– CDR registration (Required)
– MA dietetics license (must have or be qualified to get)
Work Location:
– Ability to work in person in Salem, MA or Arlington, MA offices as needed
– Most work is remote
