Under the direction of the Chief Equity Officer, the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) supports the work of the Office of Equity with program leadership, staff, and key stakeholders to create engagement in programmatic equity efforts. The SSM I works closely with the Chief Equity Officer and Equity Strategic Manager to identify and develop DCSS equity goals and design strategic plan initiatives to support these goals. The SSM I supports DCSS’ efforts to expand department-wide capacity to support equity efforts, including but not limited to overseeing the development and implementation of the department’s Language Access Plan (LAP).
