We are looking for a highly motivated Optomechanical Design Engineer to join our team!

How You’ll Contribute

  • Own the design process for opto-mechanical components.
  • Go from concept to detailed design, ensuring that requirements are met.
  • Excellent understanding of geometric tolerancing
  • Assembly of first articles and testing to ensure requirements are being met.
  • Create assembly and test procedures, and handoff support to manufacturing
  • Troubleshoot problems during production
  • Execute feasibility tests to accelerate path finding.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks or equivalent modeling software
  • Experience with precision mechanics and micron level tolerances
  • Prior experience in opto-mechanical systems highly desirable
  • Hands-on and independent work style, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
