This is an exciting opportunity in Henderson, CO for an Operations Leader, Packaging/Upfit Center.
Position description
Manages and leads a cross functional team to ensure speed, dependability and efficiency in plant operations.
Leads and develops relationships to meet customer needs.
Manages and leads all plant functions to meet deliverables and drive improvements.
Leads the use of Cummins values, processes and procedures, including promoting the right environment.
Coaches and develops plant staff.
Develops the strategy, goals, and deliverables for the entire plant.
Leads the impacts between the plant and the overall Supply Chain.
Manages the community involvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Experience
Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, budgetary, and cross-functional experience, required.
Foster a collaborative relationship with Power Generation Sales Team and customers. Obtain ongoing, direct feedback and input on market environment, business needs, plant performance and growth opportunities.
Be the Champion for Health, Safety and Environment for the site and actively create goals that create impact and generate improvement.
Drive diversity and inclusion in all operational aspects to include recruitment and decision making.
Considering the size and complexity of the site, the plant manager is required to be more hands on and be able to roll up his sleeves and get involved in critical issues and be able to coach the team on how to problem solve and drive resolution. Accountable to ensure day to day execution of assembly and machining operations to achieve the targets for key metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
Active engagement and leadership in developing plant strategy. This is done through active participation in forums such as management reviews, budget planning process, Operations excellence assessments and improvement plans, 4-24 month business planning and talent review processes.
Candidate must meet all eligibility requirements to drive a Company vehicle, including but not limited to:
Must have a current, valid driver’s license issued by the state in which they reside.
Must have current motor vehicle liability insurance.
Must abide by all local, state and federal rules and regulations.
No convictions for any driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs charges (DUI) within prior 5 years.
No greater than three (3) moving violations within prior 12 month period.
No greater than 2 avoidable accidents on MVR within prior 3 years.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, and Protective Footwear as required.

Salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
