Job Description
We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team specializing in Quality for our Power Systems Business Unit in Seymour, IN.
This is a 3^rd shift position: 10:50pm – 7:30am starting Sunday night
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Experience maintaining quality systems (computers, programs, gages, etc.), so operators can accomplish quality oriented tasks.
* Oversee and Analyze Millipore patches. Provide quality dispositions for other unique or one-off issues like damages after a tool crash, etc.
* Develop and maintain quality process inspection plans.
* Submit exception reports to PE for approval for features when out of specification.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Experience with QC-CALC to analyze measurement data to approve blocks to process further and to provide feedback.
* Responsible for weekly report of Cp/Cpk data of major features including notes and additional data on Pareto of features to focus corrective actions.
* Submits quality reports to SQE and other team members as needed (MNC’s, scrap cards, etc.).
* Complete Quality section on ER’s as needed.
* Ability to perform de-burr over checks, porosity inspections, CMM report approvals, and final inspection of blocks at various machining steps to ensure blocks meet quality requirements.
* Experience managing associates, which includes but is not limited to conducting performance reviews, addressing employee relations, managing and approving timecards and participating in recruiting process.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
