Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is seeking a full-time ED Technician or EMT. Under supervision of an RN or physician, the ED Tech supports nursing and physician staff with triage, care and treatment of patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries. They serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach, anticipating the needs of the patient and/or team by performing and completing tasks within scope of practice.

What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Prefer nursing or other healthcare-related training.
- BLS required.
- Washington State Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) required upon hire.
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; as a condition of employment, application for MA-Phlebotomist Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire.
- One year of recent emergency department or related medical experience providing direct patient care, preferably in a free-standing emergency department, preferred. EMT-B recent experience will be considered.
- ER or Express Clinic experience preferred.
Schedule: 0.9 FTE; 36 hours/week; day shift
