Full-Time Media Sales Consultant

Do you ever see a commercial on TV or an advertisement on social media and wonder how they are created? Now is your chance to have a part in the process here at Sparklight! Sparklight’s Media Sales Consultant (also known as Integrated Media Consultants) start the process off by creating relationships with local businesses and advising them on marketing plans. You will assist in determining which method of advertising is best of the company’s goals then match and sell them the Sparklight advertising service that best fits their needs.

What your day will look like:
- Presenting and selling Sparklight marketing products to local and national businesses. Products include: targeted display, targeted search, video services, web development, and spot cable.
- Creating compelling solutions based on helping the client identify their needed marketing and/or advertising strategies.
- Acting as a consultant to customers and provide updated marketing strategies.
- Meeting building rapport with new and potential customers.
- Delivering outstanding customer sales experience to clients.
- Maintaining solid relationships and serving as an industry expert to decision makers.
What are we looking for?
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Must have reliable transportation for local travel.
- Up to 10% overnight travel required.
- General knowledge of presentation software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Understanding of digital advertising products preferred.
