Job Description
Specific Skills
Load and unload goods, Transport and handle dangerous goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform brake adjustments, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Documentation Knowledge
Trans-border documentation, Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Trip reports, Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports, Dangerous goods occurrence reports, Inspection report(pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Transportation/Travel Information
Willing to travel internationally, Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s license, Drive manual transmission vehicle

Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Flatbed, Tractor-trailer

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
