Learning Support Assistant – Lunchtime cover (Witney)
£10.52 – £10.98 per hour
10 hours per week
The working pattern is 2 hours per day, Monday – Friday
38 weeks per annum, paid for 43.13 weeks per annum

Fixed term until 7th July 2023
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support team at Abingdon & Witney College are looking to appoint professional, energetic and enthusiastic people with excellent communication skills to support our students on the Witney campus during their lunch breaks. This will involve encouraging the students to engage in conversations with their peers and to support them with the agreed lunchtime routines.
These roles require individuals who enjoy working with young people, some of which have complex needs. Some LSAs will work with students on a 1:1 basis others with small groups of students, training is provided. We work with amazing young people who have a range of learning and support needs, every day is different, and the support needs will vary. The college has a friendly, supportive culture focused on bringing out the best in every individual.
We are also looking for people who are interested in joining a pool of casual Learning Support Assistants where hours would be on a flexible hourly paid basis, which can fit around and suit your availability. If this option would suit you, then please highlight in your application that you would like to be considered for the hourly paid option.
