Full-Time Lead Equipment Operator
Job Description
This is an hourly, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week. We offer a full benefits package and compensation ranges from $27.92 – $31.91 per hour, depending on qualifications.
The City of Oshkosh is seeking to fill a full-time Lead Equipment Operator position. The Lead Equipment Operator is responsible for coordinating and completing assigned training and street and utility infrastructure maintenance and repair tasks, and providing progress reports to the Street Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible for employee training and job site operations of an assigned group of Equipment Operators. Secondary responsibilities involve the safe and efficient operation of medium and heavy-duty construction equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
• Qualified candidates will possess and maintain a valid WI CDL, Class A, with N endorsement and no air brake restriction,
• A high school diploma or equivalent,
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the street and utility infrastructure construction repair and maintenance field, operating motorized construction or maintenance equipment.
