Full-Time Internal Client Support Invoicing Consultant

The Internal Client Support Invoicing Consultant provides support to Black Knight’s Invoicing and Claims℠ Solutions. Leads Client Support training initiatives, manages high severity issues and works closely with Product Management, representing all client production issues related to the Invoicing and Claims application. Provides rotational 24/7 on call support.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
* Serves as liaison between end-users and the information technology organization consultants during IT and technology consulting projects.
* Provides documentation for new technology or changes to existing technology to meet business and technical requirements.
* Researches business strategies and provide recommendations on best practices and changes in technology for mortgage solutions.
* Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing.
* Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests. Conducts tests using client data to recreate client reported issues
* Acts as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects, leading sub-plans or small projects. May mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced Technology Business Consultants.
* May play a key role in the training of client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures.
* Assists with delivering training either one-on-one as knowledge transfer or in a classroom setting, depending on the number in the audience and client preference.
* Performs other related duties as required.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide the front line consultants with timely and accurate responses and solutions
* Consult and train in areas of expertise
* Provide input into and implement critical internal processes
* Responsible for internal and external client communications
* Represent Client Support on functional and product-related projects
* Matrix manage the product and functional team of front line consultants
* Act as a functional escalation point for Client Support and negotiate effective solutions
* Identify and implement tools needed for Client Support to assume client support in a timely manner
* Maintain ownership and provide direction for problems through resolution
* Build effective relationships with third level support groups

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Preferred working knowledge of Black Knight’s Invoicing application highly preferred.
* Prior Mortgage or Home Equity Servicing experience preferred
* Preferred working knowledge of Default and Claims processing specifically regarding investors including, but not limited to, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA.

* Familiarity with Black Knight products and services
* In-depth knowledge of mortgage-and home-equity services industry and associated regulatory and compliance requirements
* Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines
* Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies
* Awareness of system-development protocol
* Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
* Willingly shares relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources
* Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
* Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
* Project management skills, including the ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed
* Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

Advanced professional role. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors more junior technology business consultants. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires five or more years of demonstrated business analysis/consulting experience at a senior level or higher, demonstrated expert-level technical capabilities, a minimum of five years of mortgage and home equity services consulting or management experience, and at least one project as the technology consulting lead on a “large” project (i.e., a project with duration of more t han 6,000 hours or spanning more than 4 months).
