Focuson creating a safe and healthy workplace and raising awareness of situations or behaviors that might lead to injury or illness.
Manufacturing
A vital link in our supply chain is manufacturing and the improvement of ouroperational excellence. Apply common approaches in all Cummins manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution entities.
Additionally, you will help to improve our worldwide manufacturing performance with an emphasis on throughput, schedule stability, and waste reduction.
Planning and Logistics
Applyyour planning and logistics skills in materials, production, customer service, demand management, logistics, warehousing, transportation and trade compliance.
Purchasing / Supplier Management

Quality
Havethe opportunity to continuously improve Cummins processes using quality tools and skills. You¡¦ll work with other functions to find, qualify, and improve suppliers. You¡¦ll work with manufacturing to implement and improve manufacturing processes.

Major ProgramsTypicallyConsidered:All Engineering Majors(including MET and EET), All Supply Chain and Logistics Related Majors, All Health and Safety Related Majors, Economics, Informatics, and Statistics.
Internship program criteria:
* Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
* Minimum3.0GPApreferred
* Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 weeksweek commitment
* Must be ableto complete 40 hours per week
* Willingnessto learn fromothers on the job
