Job Description
HVAC Mechanic
Responsible for maintaining the plant HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, refrigeration and ventilation.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain the plant HVCA systems including heating, ventilating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems; perform preventative maintenance; monitor and inspect systems to ensure proper operation
- Investigate problems and perform necessary maintenance and repairs and small installation projects
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of parts
- Assist with planning budget for parts, repairs and costs
- Assist with other facility tasks such as dock equipment, doors, appliances and lighting
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- 3-5 years of applicable work experience or a HVAC/Mechanical certification plus applicable work experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Knowledge of blueprints
- Ability to repair systems
Percent of Travel: 0-10%
Working Conditions: Distribution Center, Production Areas, Office areas, Construction Areas
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 80lbs., and carry objects weighing up to 47lbs up to 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 75 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and boxes.
- Show fine motor dexterity.
- Demonstrate ability to climb stairs, stoop, crawl, twist, squat and reach overhead.
- The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Wage Range: $23.00 – $27.50
