Full-Time HR Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for administrative support to help our small HR department through a busy period. The HR Administrator will be responsible for processing and recording employment changes; creation, maintenance and filing of HR records and data entry.

What do our HR Administrators do?:

  • Complete new hire administration and coordinate onboarding processes
  • Prepare HR documents
  • Organise and maintain employee files and carry out file audits when required
  • Ensure HR information systems and reports are promptly and accurately updated
  • Administer the leaver process
  • Update sickness and other absence records
  • Deal with correspondence to the HR department
  • Provide administration support for employee benefits including adding new members and recording scheme information
  • Scanning and filing of documents
  • Perform general HR administrative tasks and any other delegated duties considered appropriate in line with the role
  • Support new hire and leaver administration processes
  • Process employee record changes and prepare HR documents
  • Organise and maintain employee files
  • Ensure HR information systems and reports are promptly and accurately updated
  • Provide general administration support; data entry, scanning and filing, logging absences, benefits enrolment support

What do we expect from a HR Administrator?

  • Prior experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role
  • High levels of attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
  • Experience with Microsoft word software package – primarily Word and Excel

  • Prior experience as an HR Administrator or relevant role

  • Exceptional organisational ability, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Committed to providing a helpful and responsive HR service
  • Experience with Microsoft word software package – primarily Word and Excel
  • Accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail including proofing
