We are looking for a talented Global Planning Leader to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Filtration in Nashville, Tennessee.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Maintaining integrity of the supply plan and taking corrective actions promptly to ensure supply plan stability, escalating as appropriate.
• Effectively manage cross-functional and cross-business unit interactions to ensure dependable and efficient demand management, including daily operations.
• Use knowledge of business, customers, markets, and products to efficiently challenge demand plan assumptions to improve the quality and robustness of the demand plan.
• Effectively utilize demand plan assumptions in the disaggregation process to improve supply forecast accuracy.
• Leading continuous improvement and change management projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverages common processes tools and information systems.
• Approaching daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets.
• Support Corporate Supply Chain Management initiatives and leads the regional/global disaggregation and supply forecasting process to ensure global alignment.
• Develop, understand, and improves necessary key performance indicators.
• Manage, coach and develop staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To Be Succesful in this role you will require the following skills
• Master Supply Planning and Demand Disaggregation – Use statistical analysis and collaborates with other disciplines to provide a long term view of customers demand, and ensures the supply plan is aligned with the demand plan; balances supply and demand in a manner that achieves the financial and service objectives, while stabilizing the supply chain and optimizing the supply chain tensions.
• Materials KPI Management – Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.
• Planning Data Extraction and Analysis – Extracts, transforms, models, interprets, and presents planning data with the goal of mining useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting value creating decision making.
• Supply Chain Knowledge – Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.
• 5+ years as a people manager, leading a global, high performing team and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in ahigh-energy, fast-paced environment whilst influencing action and accountability in others, with and without a direct reporting line.
• 5+ years of supply chain management, demand planning, and customer service experience.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
