Falcon Glass is looking for skilled and reliable Glaziers to join our dynamic team! As a Glazier at Falcon Glass, you will play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining glass structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. If you have a passion for craftsmanship, precision, and working with your hands, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Glass Selection & Measurement: Assess and determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for specific jobs.
Cutting & Shaping: Accurately measure, mark, and cut glass to specified dimensions.
Installation & Assembly: Securely position and install panes in frames. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, and other glass products.
Hardware Installation: Install door, window, and other glass-related hardware.
Repair & Maintenance: Repair glass doors and other glass structures as needed.
Transportation: Safely transport and handle cases of glass to and from work sites.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure precise installation and construction.
Work Environment
Location: Work must be completed at the physical location—this is not a remote position.
Conditions: Work will be performed at heights and outdoors, requiring the ability to handle various environmental factors.
Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience as a Glazier or in a similar trade.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety.
Work Eligibility: Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents of Canada with a valid work permit. The employer will not consider applications from those who are not authorized to work in Canada.
