Position Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Academic Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, is searching for a full-time Geriatrician at any rank. These positions will provide clinical and teaching in the outpatient/ambulatory, post-acute care facility, and/or inpatient settings with flexibility to cater to applicants’ career interests. We are interested in applicants with strong scholarly activities and teaching background.
Faculty Rank will be determined based on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Clinical duties with Geriatrics Patients
- Teach Students, Residents, and Fellows
- Participate in the scholarly and service missions of the department
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
MD/DO Degree
Completion of a Geriatrics Fellowship by Start Date
Eligible for a State of Illinois Physician License
Eligible for medical staff privileges at UI Health
