Julian House is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We run several projects and every year we help thousands of people out of homelessness, into employment, away from domestic abuse, and more.

Job Role: Fundraising & Marketing Director
Salary: £50,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Bath
Additional information:
- Occasional evening and weekend work, with occasional overnight stays
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes
The Role:
Over the past decade, Julian House has successfully built-up significant support through events, trusts, corporates, major donors, individual and regular giving; raising an annual target of c.£1m. We are now looking to achieve a step change in results with sustainable income growth to accelerate our impact and expansion.
This exciting role will suit a tenacious and inventive relationship builder, who has proven experience in Fundraising and Marketing. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate innovative and creative solutions to everyday marketing/fundraising type challenges, as well as a track record in increasing fundraised income. If you are someone who is keen to make your mark on a growing and dynamic charity, we would love to hear from you.
As the Director, you’ll lead our small yet mighty Fundraising and Marketing team, ensuring a step change in results through innovation, creativity, and the highest level of professionalism. This is a strategic leadership role, but operational fundraising elements will include a more hands on approach with Corporates and Major Donors.
As a Member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this role will contribute to the delivery and development of the overall organisational strategy.
