ABOUT THIS ROLE:

This role will report to the Facilities Manager and provide support to the Granite Bay office, but be a back up to our other offices for all facility needs.  This position is exempt and is required to be in office 5 days a week.  At times, this position may require you to work out of normal business hours to meet vendors. Additionally, this position will require you to travel to our other office locations in northern and southern California a few times a year.

 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

 

Facilities Support

  • Be a point of contact for all facilities related issues, upgrades, malfunctions and employee related issues
  • Manage building security access
  • Coordinate safety and fire drills, safety meetings, emergency evacuation plan/documents and update IIPP
  • Prepare and distribute minutes of Safety Meetings
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in resolving all facility needs
  • Follow and track Granite Bay safety tickets
  • Enroll new hires in Safety Training
  • Assist in ergonomic assessments and follow up for employees

 

Office Support

  • Plan and coordinate office events
  • Order supplies (office, first aid supplies, and snacks), stock and manage supply inventory
  • Manage petty cash disbursements and reconciliation
  • Assist in special projects as requested
  • Make deliveries and pickups as needed

 

What Success Looks Like:

After the first six months, you will emersed in the BETA culture learning the values and the responsibilities of the role under minimal supervision.

 

After the first year, you will have fostered relationships with internal departments and external vendors and have the capacity to meet major challenges.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with facility related interaction, vendor exposure, office management, and customer service
  • Experience managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills related to project management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy

 

 

Hiring base salary range:  Up to $78,000 annually depending on experience

  • Note the amount listed is the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this position.
