DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Applied Engineering role works to make necessary machines run cleaner, by improving emissions and ultimately the air cleaner, and our environment better.

Through your experience and expertise as an engineer will examine emissions regulations and map those to the mechanical side of emissions. Through assessing and analyzing sensing systems, evaluating sensors and actuators. You’ll look at calibration content, simulation models, validating, testing and calibrate engine performance.

• You will lead development projects with simulation and validation through physical testing in rig and test cell environments.
• You will lead others in the translation of catalyst performance characterization, derived from both simulation and physical testing to calibration for system integration.
• You will work collaboratively with other technical functions and business units to deliver integration content for future products.
• You will work collaboratively with external suppliers to develop future technologies.
• You will participate as a key contributor and is accountable for project success.
• You will demonstrate a depth of knowledge of engineering disciplines and leverages expertise on projects.
• And, you wil troubleshoot complex problems and takes appropriate actions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required. Post-graduate (Master’s) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
