Starting Wage: $17.74+ per hour, depending on qualifications

As the Database Specialist, you will be responsible for delivery of program information across member-facing databases and platforms. This key role works collaboratively across multiple teams to build and communicate timelines, enter, review and analyze customer-facing data, present timely and accurate program information, lead process improvement efforts and engage relevant audiences for necessary changes and follow up.
In this position you will be able to use your skills for:
Collaboration and Communication:
- Build positive working relationship with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Engage key stakeholders to build project plans that drive timely and accurate data presentation to members.
- Communicate constantly with key stakeholders to ensure project plans stay on track and communicate adjustments as necessary.
- Develop standard operating procedures and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure data is accurate before presenting to members and to quickly address inaccuracies or process improvement as necessary.
Infrastructure and Applications:
- Import data from excel/csv files to a digital database.
- Update various data including program registration, community center schedules, Live Stream program information, status of items, or other information.
- Organize and manipulate existing data in various applications.
- Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
- Collects input from key stakeholders and uses professional knowledge to determine how best to approach tasks and solve abnormalities.
- Support of new or special assignments as required.
- Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.
Analysis:
- Use available data sources to research, analyze and determine online performance issues and propose solutions for improvement.
- Analyze abnormalities that occur within own working area and reasons, based upon professional knowledge and insights, where the cause lies and work collaboratively with cross-functional team to resolve.

- You have three or more years of related experience with demonstrated results in collaborative cross-functional work, delivery of quality and accurate outcomes (preferred).
- You have experience working in cross-functional teams including customer service and information technology.
- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations.
- You have working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office suite and ability to navigate a computer with proficiency.
- You have experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM (preferred).
- You are able to enter data accurately and quickly.
- You have strong attention to detail and are able to think analytically.
- You have basic knowledge of touch typing system and database management tools.
- You have excellent writing and editing skills.
