Summary:
Maryland Care Management, Inc. is searching for an enthusiastic Data Analyst who is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient reporting and input of data related to specific core business functions. The Data Analyst will maintain data storage, assess database design, and gather, organize, and interpret statistical information based on the data in the database.

Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to perform detailed and disciplined work using standard methodologies in the analysis, design, development, evaluation, testing, documentation, implementation, and support of company goals.
• Proficiency with data systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, data stores and other business intelligence systems.
• Strong SQL skills in MS SQL Server environment, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Experience with data mapping, extraction, and transformation.
• General knowledge of terminology and code sets associated with healthcare data.
• Experience working with and creating databases, database objects, reports, and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
• Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of data processing, with at least two years of experience with database management experience. Experience within the in the health care environment (Medicaid or Medicare) a plus.
