We are looking for a talented Cybersecurity Integration Senior Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering Function for our Corporate Organization in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Participate in Telematics Change Control Boards meetings
• Participate in and actively provide risk and mitigation paths for threat assessments and risk assessments
• Actively develop and document cybersecurity processes for Cummins Telematics ECU development
• Actively participate in and help drive solutions/responses to external Cybersecurity Requirements
• Develop NIST and SAE21434 skillsets to help drive better cybersecurity solutions and processes into Cummins Telematics products
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Prior entry level engineering equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required. Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred
• Prior experience of Telematics systems is essential
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure and IoT technologies are also valuable
• Detailed working knowledge of telematics features such as Over the Air updates, Engine registration and engineering datalogging
• Extensive knowledge of J1939 and UDS protocols.
• A working knowledge of Ethernet is desirable
• A working knowledge of Product Cybersecurity Processes is desirable
• A working knowledge of Product Cybersecurity Requirements is desirable
• Knowledge of VPI and CPS processes of product life cycle management
• Detailed working knowledge of Cummins tools like Calterm, INSITE and Guidanz.
• Proficient in engineering tools like CAN analyzer and engineering dataloggers.
• Ability to write CAN scripts, ethernet scripts and simulating cloud interfaces over MQTT and HTTPS
• Familiarity with Cummins Engine architecture and network topology
• Familiarity with Threat Anaylsis and Risk Analysis
• Familiarity with IDFMEAs
• Familiarity with encryption algorithms
• Ability to solve problems and use of methodologies such as 7 step problem solving
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
