Curriculum Manager – Oxfordshire Adult Learning 

£45,376 – £46,581 per annum 

37hours per week 

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day 

52 weeks per annum 

Abingdon Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Curriculum Manager in Oxfordshire Adult Learning, a faculty of Abingdon and Witney College.

Oxfordshire Adult Learning offers English and Maths courses for adults, Community Learning, Family Learning and leisure learning courses throughout the county. Our aim is to support people to engage more effectively with their communities, improve their mental health and wellbeing, develop employability skills and to engage in the joy of learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision for Family Learning and Health and Wellbeing provision in line with funding guidelines, to ensure the sustained growth and success of the faculty. You will maintain relationships with existing partner organisations and expand our reach to deliver teaching and learning to targeted priority groups within the community. You will be instrumental in developing and our response to this aspect of the skills agenda against key national and local priorities.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive leader, able to function effectively under pressure in a highly changeable environment. You will be an experienced teacher with proven record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning. You will be an experienced line manager, have relevant experience working in adult learning and be familiar with current trends and funding policies.
