Job Description
The Content Developer will report directly to the Director of Education Services and will assist in creation and implementation of educational content for USA Volleyball Education Services. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Cross departmental support is a general expectation of all USAV employees. The position is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to:
• Design LMS course framework to host online modules.
• Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts, policymakers, and other professionals to develop quality curricula and learning resources.
• Create online modules of specific content using text, narration, animation, video, exercises, and assessments.
• Create in person clinic sessions (instructor guides) based on the online modules.
• Create webinars and presentations for events and meetings.
• Create manuals and handouts to support modules and clinics.
• Assist with designing exams and other formal and informal assessment to gauge curriculum effectiveness and solicit feedback/surveys from participants.
• Collaborate with other writers, graphic designer, and instructional designer to create and/or enhance learning products.
• Design introductions and links to external partner content.
• Work with external content experts to develop online and in person modules.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in in education curriculum development, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in coaching education, online education development or related
field.
• Demonstrated experience in working with advanced learning management systems and content authoring applications.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with detail-oriented mindset.
• Experience with creating instructional manuals.
• Coursework in instructional design is a plus.
• Experience in video editing and publishing
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Litmos is a plus.
• Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date).
• Must successfully complete SafeSport training within two weeks of hire date and remain current.

Salary: $18.50/hr.
