Full-Time CRM System Administrator

Job Description

Ball State University Information Technology is seeking a CRM System Administrator with the possibility of 100% remote work. In this role you will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the campus CRM in addition to interacting with areas across campus as we deploy the institutional CRM. You will have the opportunity to work on the campus CRM at the ground level providing input on institutional decisions while helping to guide the campus to a full institutional deployment. Position Function: Provide CRM systems expertise, support, and guidance as part of the Information Technology team. Coordinate CRM-related administrative functions including maintenance, modifications, generating reports and dashboards, and new build-out of the environment. Creating and automating processes, approval processes. Support system integrations and user training while creating documentation and training materials for the campus community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by date of appointment.

Or, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree:

  1. Associate’s degree plus an additional combination of education or experience in IT equivalent to two years.

Or:

  1. High school diploma or GED plus an additional combination of education or experience in IT equivalent to four years.

At least one year of IT experience with integrating systems or providing IT support and one year of project management experience, experience as system administrator for an enterprise solution; demonstrated experience working with third-party vendors to determine product and services technical compatibilities. At least two years of customer service and training experience.

Minimum Other:

Experience in communication and presentation skills; ability to quickly adapt and become familiar with university processes and procedures and quickly establish rapport and confidence among multiple university units and levels of the organization. Ability to meet with end-users to capture and understand needs and processes to make informed recommendations for process improvement or system solutions. Must be willing to assure the continuity of enterprise systems and be available to provide support assistance on a 24 hour-a-day, 365 day-a-year basis.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technology or business-related program from an accredited institution. Five years of experience working in an IT environment at a higher educational institution. Five years of CRM experience. Two years of project management and Ellucian Banner ERP experience and knowledge. Demonstrated CRM experience in addition to CRM certifications. Strong understanding of the CRM platforms, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred. Experience with deploying Organizations within the CRM environment.

Preferred Other:  Strong communication skills and the demonstrated ability to coordinate systems design, implementation and operation using a team-oriented approach.

Salary range for this position:  $75,000 – $85,000
