Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Manager at Newton Rebar, your role will involve the following key duties:
Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
Scheduling & Monitoring: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, ensuring that project progress is tracked efficiently.
Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Blueprint Review: Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure that construction is carried out according to plan.
Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and handle land acquisitions.
Supervision:
You will oversee a team of 5 to 10 people, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma).
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving and leadership skills.
