Full-Time Communications Officer
Job Description
Location: Leeds. We are open to flexible, hybrid and home-working, with some in-person attendance and meetings at our office in Leeds.
Accountable to: Communications Lead.
Start date: As soon as possible
Hours of work: Full time (37.5 hours a week)
Contract: Permanent contract
Salary: Band D: £24,926 – £28,325 per year, pro rata where applicable
Purpose: To support the communications team with our influencing communications campaigns, press and crisis communications. Working with the wider team to maintain communications needs and evaluations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and bold individual to join our team to allow us to achieve our goals and ensure that we put student mental health first. This role is focused on working with the communications team to create our communications campaigns, support with our press and ensure timely responses to any crisis communications.
Work with us as we lead with the voices of students and university communities, empowering them to share these experiences publicly. Help us to influence and challenge the government and university communities to ensure that no student is held back by their mental health.
