DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Communications Manager to join our team in New Power, which is the company’s newest business segment launched to accelerate decarbonization through our alternative power portfolio. This communicator will work directly with leaders to articulate the business’ strategies and innovations, both internally and externally. The role will focus on defining and implementing the marketing communication strategies for our e-mobility products, communicating the value and impact these technologies provide to our customers and our communities.
This role has flexibility to be hybrid or remote, with up to 25% travel post pandemic.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Marketing Communications: Partner with business leadership to establish marketing communication strategies and ensure communication, planning, and results are effectively achieving business objectives, and maximized across digital platforms.
• Brand Activation: Develop strategies and execute communications and marketing plans to position the brand within the alternative power space. Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for both internal and external stakeholders to build and protect the brand’s reputation.
• Content Marketing: Collaborate to help deliver New Power’s content marketing strategy and editorial board. This includes how we tell New Power’s story and produce content in a wide variety of forms, including blog posts, videos, photo essays, listicles, case studies and long-form articles. Coordinate with key business and functional stakeholders from ideation to publication, as well as drive how we strategically amplify the business’ content on digital and social platforms.
• Proactively & Collaboratively Identify Opportunities: Collaborate with team members and other segment communication leaders to align messaging and create and optimize communication and marketing opportunities for New Power across the company.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related subject required. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications or Brand Reputation.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
