Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDCIII) – Make a Real Impact!

Are you passionate about helping individuals break free from addiction and regain control of their lives? We’re looking for a full-time LCDCIII to provide advanced substance abuse counseling—including assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and education—for clients struggling with substance use disorders. You’ll work with individuals, families, and groups to support lasting recovery.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Location: On-site, as scheduled with the Program Director
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (occasional evening/weekend hours as needed)
- Pay Rate: $30.00/hour (FLSA non-exempt)

Your Impact:
Assess & Evaluate – Conduct client assessments to determine substance use and mental health needs
Create Personalized Treatment Plans – Develop strategies tailored to individual recovery goals
Lead Group Sessions – Provide evidence-based individual & group therapy
Crisis Intervention – Support clients through urgent substance use or mental health challenges
Educate & Empower – Facilitate sessions on addiction, recovery, and prevention strategies
Relapse Prevention & Coping Strategies – Help clients build sustainable recovery plans
Coordinate Care – Work with legal entities, professionals, and support groups to ensure the best care
Advocate for Clients – Ensure they receive the support and resources they need
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree & Ohio LCDCIII Credential – Required to practice in this role
✔ Experience in Substance Use Disorder Treatment – Prior work in addiction counseling is a plus
✔ Group Therapy Experience – Preferred but not required
✔ Minimum of 1,248 Patient Service Hours Annually (104/month)
✔ Valid Ohio Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation – Must have an excellent driving record
✔ Ability to Meet Credentialing Requirements – Compliance with state and federal standards
