The Marketing Operations & Technology team owns the marketing ecosystem and has these priorities:
Step change our effectiveness by building a repeatable marketing model
Step change our speed by ensuring the wiring cross-functionally and global to local is “right” and with as few touches as necessary
Create competitive advantage by piloting and experimenting with next gen marketing, media, and conversion tools

This Associate Manager – Marketing Operations & Technology role is focused on raising the capability level of marketers worldwide by leveraging the brand operating system (BOS) and integrated growth planning (IGP) processes to build brands locally and grow market share. This role reports to the Manager of BOS/IGP and focuses on these responsibilities:
Operationalizes investments in new capabilities by driving BOS/IGP marketing technology solutions
Aggressively simplifies systems by leveraging expertise in Marketing Operations
Drives efficiency and operational excellence of the SCJ Way of Commercializing based on analysis from reporting, tracking, compliance and from user input
Provides business use end-user support/coaching on effective execution of BOS and IGP as operating models and the use of the systems
Partners with RD&E Delivery Systems on new product development milestones and tools
Business interface with BPT for fixes, improvements or additions to BOS / IGP processes
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Invest in New Capabilities
Quickly build expert knowledge of BOS and IGP processes and technology
Drive continuous improvement of marketing technology solutions
Drive Efficiency & Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and compliance related to BOS and IGP
Monitor key metrics and run reports to track process progress of BOS and IGP, and wire with organization to meet aligned SLAs
Aggressively Simplify Systems
Ensure the right people have the right roles to perform tasks
Manage process service level agreements (SLAs), process escalations; task reassignment activities for all workflows.
Interface with Business & BPT (Technology team)
With Business to qualify new or revised business requirements
With BPT (Workflow Factory) to help solve business user issues, address minor enhancements opportunities
Interface with Delivery Systems (RD&E team)
With Business to optimize timing of activities across global and Cluster (local) marketing
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:
2+ years of project management experience and experience using JIRA
Exposure to Global and Local (cluster) marketing is preferred
Cross-functional team experience is advantageous
Marketing analytics experience
Experience with reporting and developing key performance indicators
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
An understanding of equity marketing activities at the Global and Local (cluster) level
Experience with the BOS and IGP operating models
Experience or exposure to Tableau or other analytics software
Demonstrated success in participating on cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes
Strong analytical skills
High sense of urgency
Passion for making a difference and helping the broader team win
Masters complexity quickly and is adept at explaining complexity to others
A collaborative problem-solver
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
International travel is not expected, 10% or less is possible
