Company Profile:

We are service based plumbing and drainage company looking for experienced plumber with excellent knowledge of Canadian plumbing code, as well as storm drain and sump installations. Our customer base consists mostly of residential customers. We offer 24 /7 emergency services, and we therefore require you to be available for some weekend and after hours shifts. You must have a clean driver licence.

Salary                               :     $36.75/hr

Start Date                        :     As soon as possible

Education                        :     High School

Language                         :     English

Experience                      :     3 years or more

 

Duties:-

  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
  • Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
  • Perform hands-on drain clearing and blockage removal, including extensive work on 4-inch sewer lines, ensuring proper flow and compliance with safety standards.
  • Using cameras to diagnose structural issues.
  • Repair drain lines and unclog drains.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Writing and presenting estimates for customers.
