Our typical clients are men and women who are looking for either business suits or wedding suits. We also tailor shirts, overcoats, formalwear and countrywear from some of the finest cloths in the world.
The Role:
As a tailor in our business you will be altering suits for our clients at our Liverpool Street showroom and making any changes required to ensure we provide the very best fitting and high quality suits.
Job Details:
King & Allen have four stores nationwide. This job is based at our Liverpool Street showroom where our clients come to select cloth and be measured for suits. Once the suits are completed our consultants will fit the suits and record any alterations that need to be made. You will carry out these alterations using the sewing machines and space we have set up in our showroom.
Required Experience:
- Experienced and skilled in all aspects of tailoring
- An understanding of pattern cutting and floating canvas construction
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure within timescales and without supervision
- Good written and spoken English
- At least 4 years sewing experience
Desired Experience:
- Experience conducting fittings with clients
- Experience working in a customer focused environment.

Salary: £25,000-£29,000
Job Type: Full-time (Tuesday to Saturday 9am-6pm) but part-time will be considered
