POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for reviewing and ensuring timeliness and accuracy throughout the accounts payable process, managing bills and payments while also supporting Operations, General Ledger, and Treasury activities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a tactical manner across the organization to achieve objectives. This individual will report to our Global Controller and will work closely with all sides of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage our end-to-end accounts payable process for our global vendors/partners across the world
  • Reconcile vendor/partner payable accounts daily to ensure that all payments have been processed on time
  • Prepare and monitor accounts payable reporting daily, weekly and monthly
  • Assist with payment issues and inquiries
  • Troubleshoot billing issues, vendor disputes and recommend process improvements
  • Supervise cash application of payments to vendor/partner accounts
  • Drive accountability to our internal accounts payable deadlines and escalation process
  • Organize and conduct an efficient payment process
  • Work with our regional teams to track payments to our international partners
  • Maintain compliance and up to date industry standards
  • Manage special projects upon request

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5-6 years in an AP department with supervisory oversight
  • NetSuite and other account software experience preferred
  • Previous experience managing accounts payable
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas
  • Prior experience with advanced analytics and reporting tools like Looker and Tableau a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal business partners and vendors
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
  • Adaptable to a changing, fast-paced work environment
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service through a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
  • Display appropriate ethical knowledge through extraordinary confidentiality, integrity and professional presentation and conduct
  • Previous experience managing a team preferred
  • Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize work flow
