Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2 - Fitness Center

Part-Time

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time, temporary, Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2.  This position manages the campus fitness center and over sees operations of the facility.  The work schedule for this position may vary but will typically include approximately 30 hours per week and may include some Saturdays and/or evening hours. Performs a variety of duties such as marketing the college’s fitness center and all that it offers to students, faculty, staff, and our community members. • Manage Fitness Center open hours and coordinate Fitness Testing Lab open hours
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise student staff for the Fitness Center
• Track student hours for work-study students
• Develop, maintain and enforce Fitness Center Policies and Procedures
• Select and order fitness-related equipment and supplies
• Maintain inventory and oversee, repair, and maintain all instructional Fitness Center equipment/supplies
• Maintain orderliness of all equipment storage closets, change rooms, and locker rooms.
• Oversee the set-up and take-down of instructional lab class equipment
• Attend HPE Division meetings as requested
• Coordinate with the Cashier’s office regarding Fitness Center memberships
• Develop and coordinate fitness and wellness opportunities for Clark students, faculty, and staff (including incentive programs, body composition analysis, fitness testing, and exercise prescription)
• Serve on the campus wellness committee
• Prepare and maintain Fitness Center usage reports
• Set up and maintain laundering systems
• Oversee towel pick-up and distribution
• Enforce facility safety rules and eligibility requirements
• Hold safety training workshops for fitness center staff members at least once per quarter
• Update first aid kits and spill kits with supplies
• Conduct CPR/FA training for students and faculty in programs requiring certification
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in fitness or wellness-related field
• CPR/First Aid/AED instructor certified
• Training/experience with facility safety and management
• Supervisory experience (scheduling, budgets, managing people)
• Training/experience with fitness testing equipment and protocols
• Training/experience facilitating people to meet their health and fitness goals
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups and individuals
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Retail Merchandising Rep - Grand Prairie

Merchandising Rep   Retail Merchandising Services, Inc. (RMS), a national merchandising company servicing various retailers, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Merchandising Representative in your area!   Description: As an employee of RMS you would be assigned to work in retail stores on a weekly, bi-weekly and/or one-time basis. You would be responsible for servicing retail stores within a 15-mile radius of your home address and can expect part-time, varying hours from week to week. On average, you can expect to be scheduled 6-11 hours each week. Workload may vary drastically based on the time of the year.   Compensation:
