Qualifications:
- Educational or professional background in marketing, advertising, communications, or business
- 5+ years of experience as video editor, videographer or a similar role
- Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics
- Capability and aptitude to execute the responsibilities described for this position
- Comfortable using MS Office and Google Suite applications
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of video and audio recording on DSLR cameras
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with other creative professionals
- Experience using video, sound, still and editing equipment
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred
- Self-starter with any eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred but not required: Professional experience in an advertising/marketing agency and working directly with clients
- Graphic design experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Creates an organized working experience for clients and agency team members
- Regularly keeps account manager and/or department head updated on project progress
- Captures studio-quality photographs and video
- Edits both offline and finished commercials, interviews and promotions for varying clients
- Works both on- and off-site
- Manages and oversees all technical aspects of video recording and editing
- Regularly collaborates with Creative and Account teams
- Keeps current on new video and editing software and file formats
- Shoots, edits and maintains files for a variety of video and still commercial productions
- Set-ups and maintains video, still and audio equipment
- Set-ups and maintains video/still studio
- Creates and maintains video files of monthly customer videos and commercials
- Able to work on and maintain multiple video projects and deliver on fast turnaround times
