Full-Time Data Strategy Consultant

Job Description

Premier Talent Partners is looking for an excellent Data Strategy Consultant for a 7-month contract-to-hire assignment with a commercial banking company based in Tempe, AZ – although this position is 100% remote. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in Human Resources analytics, experience modeling talent trends, and must be comfortable utilizing various data analysis techniques. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead analyst supporting workforce planning and strategy activities across the firm
  • Translate internal and external talent data into actionable insights to inform workforce strategies and long-term plans
  • Monitor external talent/labor market data from various platforms to evaluate impacts to the workforce, and inform talent acquisition, talent management and location strategies
  • Analyze data from multiple HR systems (Workday, Taleo), identifying and communicating actionable insights that inform workforce plans
  • Support workforce strategy advisors in the development of a multi-year workforce plan with forecasting, gap analysis, scenario modeling, and other activities
  • Build the analytics tools to support various workforce strategy activities and initiatives
  • Perform operational reporting and analytics responsibilities for Talent Acquisition
  • Develop informative presentations for senior leadership and executives, effectively communicating complex concepts with a high degree of simplicity and utilizing effective storytelling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of HR analytics experience is a must
  • Demonstrated experience modeling talent trends and analytics, utilizing various data analysis techniques
  • Comfortable using data analysis tools and techniques, and able to demonstrate the ability to effectively build analyses and models, and derive trends and insights from data
  • The ability to effectively manage complex data sets from disparate systems, connecting and cleansing data to resolve underlying data integrity issues
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI software, including Visier, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Access; advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e., pivot tables, macros, and statistical analysis)
  • Prior experience with talent/labor market data platforms a plus, including LinkedIn Insights, Gartner TalentNeuron, and Emsi
  • Familiar with Workday (HCM) and Taleo (ATS)
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to self-monitor all work to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, effectively navigating ambiguity
