This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Asset Management- License Manager located in Columbus, IN. We are also considering candidates for out Nashville, TN location.
The ideal candidate would be able to manage a group of intermediate level IT employees to deliver on the needs of the customer within the parameters required, by participating as a key member of the TI management team. This role has financial management responsibilities including workforce planning, budget management, performance management and people development. A strong candidate will demonstrate an ability to clearly communicate to senior management on the needs of the team, provide project status update, customer interaction follow up and empower team to reach established goals.
Experience
* Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience, required.
* Broad business knowledge required.
* Participates in the management of software licenses to help ensure compliance with policies, software licenses agreements.
* Thorough understanding of various Engineering based and other vendor based license models (Example: Ansys, Gamma Technologies, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Symantec, VMware, Adobe) and the ability to interpret software contracts/EULAs.
* Audit and improve software license data and ensure that software licenses are managed and tracked effectively.
* SAM tools product knowledge- Preferred: FNMS, FNMEA, Workflow Manager, App Portal and Admin Studio.
* Knowledge about software deployment, device inventory, software asset management (SCCM, ADDM) and Scripting skills (Powershell, VB Script, Perl, etc.)
* Experience with Cognos report development and creation.
* Leading team of software coordinators and packagers working closely with business to support all stages of software lifecycle management.
* Provide and improve data, reports, and dashboards on software lifecycle management and software ROI.
* 10+ years of experience in IT software Asset Management software licensing preferred.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
