If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Field Service Technician / Engineer in Mississauga, ON.
 
Your responsibilities may include:
     * Provide technical support for complex service related issues.
     * Serve as technical support resource providing diagnostic support on complex and hard to diagnose warranty and non-warranty repair events.
     * Formulate and direct complex repair plans.  Participate and lead repair events as required.
     * Document the results of diagnostic and repair actions in the appropriate database clearly and concisely.
     * Manage the escalation of more complex requests to the appropriate level of support.
     * Lead diagnostic support and escalation process improvement activities.
     * Maintain knowledge and technical understanding of current products and new products.
     * Promote Cummins Service capability and service programs to increase sales.
     * Distribute technical communications to the assigned region.
     * Investigate product issues at customer or dealer locations.
     * Mentors and coaches technicians in the region to improve capability.
     * Train customers in equipment operation and service.
 
 
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
     * Technical diploma / degree in Electromechanical, Electro Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines. 
     * Valid driving license. 
     * Hydrogen Technician license preferred.
 
Experience:
     * Minimum 3 years of experience in field service with mono-polar bipolar and PEM electrolytic hydrogen producing equipment.
     * Minimum 3 years of experience in start-up, troubleshooting, maintaining and training customers in the operation of hydrogen re-fueling stations; including 5k and 10k dispensers, gas control panel, compressors, boosters nozzles and SAE J2601.
     * Minimum 5 years of experience in the engineering field, including reading P&ID’s, Electrical schematics, PFD, ASME boiler code, ASME B31.3,
     * Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical troubleshooting for 24VDC, 120VAC, 220VAC, 480VAC and 600VAC equipment including motors, breaker, relays
     * Strong aptitude in mechanical skills specific to gas piping and compressor repairs, Swagelok and cone and thread experience.
     * Experience in programming in Allen Bradley,Siemens S7, GE Fanuc, Profibus & Devicnet
     * Proficient in English and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
     * Experience with Fuel Cells
     * 2nd language preferred, but not required (French, Spanish, or German)
