Job Summary:
Experienced Database Administrator 4 needed to manage enterprise SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure, ensuring performance, security, availability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments
- Monitor and tune database performance, queries, and indexes
- Manage backup, recovery, HA/DR, and replication solutions
- Enforce RBAC, encryption, and security standards
- Support developers with schema design, code review, and automation
- Administer Azure SQL platforms and maintain technical documentation
Required Skills and Certification:
- 5+ years managing enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Experience in performance tuning, security/compliance, and developer support
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSMS, backup/recovery, and HA/DR
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills and Certification:
- Experience with Azure SQL, SSIS, ETL, and database migrations
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Redgate
