Job Description

RAL Community Care Limited is seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults to live independently while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, helping service users achieve greater independence and participate actively in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users in accordance with their care and support plans.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks where required.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Support service users to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and report any concerns or changes in wellbeing to senior staff.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and company policies.
• Encourage service users to develop confidence, life skills, and social engagement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
• A compassionate, patient, and professional approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Previous care experience is not essential. Individuals who are new to care are encouraged to apply; however, successful candidates may be required to complete mandatory training and obtain a DBS check at their own expense before starting employment.
