JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Serves as the dedicated internal Agile Trainer. Responsible for the development of training roadmaps and plans where training needs have been identified. Responsible for training Agile teams on practices and standards to make certain that all team members understand their roles and that ceremonies occur within the allotted time periods.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Facilitate the learning and adoption of Agile methods and practices by individuals and teams as they gain insights and experience with Agile concepts.
* Conducts training needs assessments to understand characteristics and skill level of learners, the job setting, and to identify the processes and tasks performed by system users.
* Determines appropriate instructional strategy based on results of needs assessment.
* Designs, modifies, or develops instructional materials for multiple training modalities including traditional instructor-led classes, web-based/virtual classes, and job-aids.
* Conducts traditional classroom or web-based training sessions, using effective presentation skills, verbal communication skills, and classroom management skills at Black Knight facilities or client locations.
* Assesses training outcomes by soliciting and reviewing feedback and evaluation of classes taught.
* Develops and manages content and parameters of training banks including account and scenario setup, product definition across multiple applications, and security.
* Delivers training and workshops based on training needs
* Develops in house training where needed
* Conducts training needs analysis and collaborates with coaches to determine where additional workshops or learning sessions are needed
* Contributes to the training roadmap
* Tracks training rosters and completed courses to enable training metrics
* Maintains training metrics across organization
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
* Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
* SAFe Program Consultant certified (SPC) required.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Experience in instructing or delivery learning content via courses and workshops
* Knowledgeable of TFS as an agile work management system preferred
* Experience in delivering SAFe certified courses and workshops
* Knowledgeable of TFS as an agile work management system
* Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
* Understanding of, and ability to demonstrate, adult education principles and techniques
* Classroom Management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; clear, tactful, and constructive
* Proficient with technology and office automation tools and applications
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally
* Strong time management skills with flexibility, versatility, dependability
* Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and problem solving ability
* Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks
Agile Trainer II
Expert professional role. Demonstrates extensive knowledge, proficiency, and leadership within the role and team. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects with a wide latitude for independent judgment. Acts as a mentor to les experienced peers. Trains a full portfolio of standard and custom multi-day Agile courses. Completes learning plans for new courses successfully without assistance. Collaborates as a Subject matter expert in the application of SAFe at all levels. Typically requires a minimum of eight (8) or more years of related work experience with five (5) or more years of experience in technology and working in an agile environment. Experience in instructing or delivery learning content via courses and workshops is required. SAFe Program Consultant certified (SPC) required. Knowledgeable of TFS as an agile work management system preferred.
