Job description:

Are you looking for an easy way to get started in the world of Artificial Intelligence? At TELUS Digital, we are looking for AI Data Annotators to join our global community. You don’t need a technical degree or previous experience in AI to succeed here. Your job is to help AI “see” and “understand” the world by labeling images, text, and videos. You are the teacher providing the basic lessons that make AI smart.

Key Responsibilities:

• Image Labeling: Look at photos and draw boxes around objects like cars, trees, or people so the AI learns to recognize them.
• Text Categorizing: Read short sentences and tag them based on their meaning (for example: “Is this a question about the weather?” or “Is this a customer complaint?”).
• Data Cleaning: Review lists of information and remove duplicates or fix simple spelling errors so the AI has clean data to learn from.
• Simple Comparisons: Look at two different answers written by an AI and pick which one is better and easier to understand.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with annotation experience.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language. You need to understand the natural way people speak and write in your country.
• English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English so you can follow the project instructions on our platform.
• Reliability: You are someone who can follow simple instructions carefully and deliver work on time.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $10 – $20 USD per hour

Our Payment terms are defined for each project.
