Full-Time Field Service Engineer
Job Description
JOB DUTIES
Develop and execute advanced calibration procedures, including motion control systems and liquid handling robots. Apply knowledge of principles and practices of biomedical engineering, signal processing of biological data, and statistical analysis. Independently deploy, integrate, and sustain advanced gene sequencing instruments and optimize performance. Perform detailed evaluations on hardware, software, fluidics, and optical systems to ensure maximum instrument performance. Analyze error logs and performance data to identify complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions. Act as a subject matter expert in field escalations, collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to address critical problems. Provide comprehensive technical training to clients and internal teams on equipment operation and maintenance. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA) during service and repair activities. Document and analyze system configurations, service interventions, and user interactions to inform performance optimization and future design enhancements. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver advanced technical solutions and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive client satisfaction and product adoption. Coordinate validation testing and performance evaluation of prototype systems in operational environments, synthesizing field data to guide iterative product development.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. 6 months of experience in job offered or as a Lab Assistant. Academic background in biomedical signal processing, image processing, biomedical instrumentation, and image processing technique and machine learning
WAGE/HOURS:
$87,630 /year – $92,560/ year; 40 hours/week
