As our Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in bringing this mission to life, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of marketing functions in a growing and values-led business.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will help plan, deliver, and evaluate marketing activity that drives engagement, brand awareness, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating content across blogs, the website, social media, and email — including written, video, and image-led content.
• Using design software (e.g. Adobe suite) to produce artwork for digital and print material.
• Scheduling, publishing, and monitoring content across social media and digital channels.
• Supporting the delivery of campaigns by liaising with agencies, suppliers, and creative partners.
• Researching and planning new marketing opportunities that align with our brand and growth goals.
• Monitoring content and campaign performance to help identify trends and opportunities.
• Making simple website updates using our CMS.
• Ensuring all content follows brand guidelines and reflects King & Allen’s inclusive ethos.
• Organising digital assets (images, video, design files) to keep content libraries up to date.
• Supporting local marketing initiatives and community engagement.

Sales & Customer Support Responsibilities

At King & Allen, collaboration is important across the team. In addition to your marketing duties, you’ll also:

• Answer inbound phone enquiries and support clients with friendly, helpful service.
• Assist with community management across social media and WhatsApp.
• Provide occasional office admin support when needed, such as covering for the Office Manager.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, creativity, and a positive mindset to the team. The ideal candidate will have:

• A proactive, upbeat, and “can do” attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and initiative.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects.
• A solid understanding of social media platforms, especially for branding and advertising.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
• Experience with design and video software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Excellent communication and copywriting abilities.
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

This is a full-time position.

This role is based at our Head Office in Surbiton, Surrey.
