Full-Time Dentist
Job Description
The Dentist works as part of the dental team to provide high-quality, primary dental care services to patients of all ages, in alignment with OneWorld’s mission. The Dentist works in conjunction with dental leadership to achieve industry-leading clinical outcomes in accordance with accepted dental practice standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited dental school with a degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) required.
- Active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Dentist in the state of Nebraska; or license eligibility.
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products required; experience with an Electronic Dental Record preferred.
- Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to relate with warmth and empathy to culturally diverse patients, as well as other providers and staff members.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of general dentistry and oral surgery.
- Ability to be credentialed and approved by OneWorld’s Board of Directors.
- Ability and willingness to travel to and from multiple work locations for coverage purposes, if needed.
