The Challenge
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee our Division 14 operations.
In this role you will:
Serve as our primary liaison with the Fiscal Section, Purchasing Department, Internal/External Auditors, and the Regional Accountant IV.
Manage all activities related to fiscal administration, inventory management, purchasing, budget preparation and monitoring.
Assist our Division Engineer in managing Maintenance and Construction funds.
Track work orders established from Maintenance/Construction and statewide funds.
Prepare, monitor, and request adjustments to the Division 13 administrative budget.
Initiate requests for adjustments when needed.
Serve as our Division’s travel and expense final reviewer/approver.
Oversee local and emergency purchases.
Serve as our procurement card administrator.
Coordinate and monitor our annual materials inventory.
Coordinate accounting for all natural disaster-related costs.
What You Bring
Experience in accounting practices and procedures, including accounts payable, developing budgetary reports, and leading/supervising others in business operations.
Purchasing practices and procedures knowledge.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office and BSIP/SAP.
Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related discipline, and
3+ years relevant experience, and
2+ years supervisory experience; or
An equivalent combination of training and experience.
