KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE is now accepting applications for a PART-TIME RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE.  This position is front line to spread happiness and create exceptional experiences and lasting memories for our guests who visit the village.  As a floating sales associate, you will work in multiple retail shops within Burnley Enterprises here in the Village.  These shops include Deerskin Leather, By Candle Light, Good Vibes, Village Handmade, Girls Day Out, The Jewelry Bar, and Happy Camper.  The Burnley Enterprise shops sell a variety of fashion, home décor, and locally made items including quilts, candles, and leather bags.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and interacting with guests
  • Assisting guests by offering product knowledge and making suggestions
  • Stocking and displaying merchandise
  • Accurately handle cash transactions
  • Be able to comprehend and execute written and oral direction
  • Be guest-focused customer service driven
  • Know basic computer skills
  • Have good communication skills

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job requires being on your feet for up to eight hours at a time. You must be able to walk at a brisk pace.  You may be asked to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds and use a stepstool.  Twisting, bending, reaching, stooping, or kneeling is required. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers/fax machines, cash drawers, and filing cabinets.  Can be hectic and fast-paced. The noise level is sometimes loud. Temperatures can vary.
