Part-Time Adjunct Faculty in Psychology
Job Description
Elmira College is a nationally ranked, small college with selective admission criteria and a tradition in teaching excellence. The College community prides itself on the rapport between students and faculty. We are located in the Finger Lakes region of Western NY.
We are seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach 1-2 sections of Introduction to Psychology in the fall term of 2024. The class will cover a general overview of the discipline and practice of the field of Psychology. This position may develop into a long-term full-time Lecturer position if there is a good fit. Classes will be taught in person on a TTH schedule for a 10-week term starting September 2nd.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA in the field of Psychology, PhD preferred;
- Teaching experience is a plus.

BASIS OF PAY: Salary, Exempt
COMPENSATION: In exchange for your skills and experience, Elmira College will provide you with:
